William Brown, guilty of being at large in the Kingdom having been tried at Durham 1741 Assizes for breaking into a barn and stealing from Robert Busby, for which he had been sentenced to transportation.  To be at large in the Kingdom before the expiry of a term of transportation was a capital offence and he was so indicted.
